We all tick our way through life at a pace conventionally set to bring some order into our wordly journeys. As I have several times swerved out of my way through certain ’gates’, I am sure you have, too, as we are akin. Here you’ll find some of the gates I have slipped through.
Music is a gate, people are gates, their dreams or their works of art. Objects can be gates, love is a gate, even the resonance of a name can be one. We can practically look at anything as a gate so long as we find the right key. Sometimes we are given a key apparently by chance, other times we may well search for it. We have to keep an open mind and an open heart. An open mind for the gates around, and an open heart for the loop out of time’s implacable course. You could as well mind the loop, it’s up to you, but it dulls away the excitement.
Put your routine on pause, pick up a Gate and you will embark on an out-of-time journey. No ticks, except for your own heart’s. Let yourself set the pace.
